Kaweco is often mistaken for a Japanese brand. However Kaweco was established in 1883 in Heidelberg, Germany! The Classic Sport pen model, launched in 1934, broke new ground in design with its unique octagonal body and pocket size. Today it is largely unchanged - measuring 10cm when capped and using a universal cartridge system.
These models are made of heavy-duty molded ABS plastic and other transparent plastics with a medium stainless steel nib with a silver or gold finish. The silver nib is harder, and the golden one is slightly softer in use.
The hardest part now is choosing between the tangy and shimmering colors !!
