GEDESS Rotary Lead Sharpener

€28.00

Lead Sharpener with an original design. First patented in 1939, this GEDESS sharpener took on the first letters of its inventor Georges Dessonnanz from Switzerland.

This sharpener was exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.

Currently manufactured in Germany, it is composed of a rotating part and a grinding disc to rub and sharpen the lead with softness and precision.

First of all, it is necessary to take the lead out of the mechanical pencil by about 2 cm. It also works with ordinary pencils, only if the wood is cut in order to have enough graphite leads.

Then just insert the lead into the guide hole; and with a slight downward pressure on the pencil, rotate it 4 or 5 times. The point will be incredibly sharp!
