What's the story of the school ink bucket?
Made from 1881 by Etablissements Tardy, the grandfather of L'Ecritoire.
The prestigious school bucket has accompanied thousands of schoolchildren with ink-stained fingers in the insignia of learning the full and unbound.
Glass, Limoges porcelain, and maybe even with a valve so that the ink does not dry ... It would fit into the hole of the wooden desk; and the master or mistress passed between the rows to fill the cups with purple ink, encre violette.
School buckets from Etablissements Tardy were marked and deposited under the brand T.Y PARIS. There no available at the shop anymore.
For those nostalgic: "Mes jeunes jeunes" by Charles Trenet (1950)."
